Registered Dental Assistant
I have been with Tri-Cities Orthodontic Specialists since 2009. The most rewarding parts of my job are getting to know our patients, seeing their end results, and witnessing how happy and confident they are with their smiles once their treatment is complete.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband Logan and our three fur babies Malcolm, Diesel, and Dixie.
I have been with Tri-Cities Orthodontic Specialists since 2007. I am one of the first voices you will hear when you call our Kingsport location. I try to take care of any questions or concerns you may have to make your experience with TCOS a pleasant one. I am truly blessed to work with such wonderful co-workers and be part of a group that makes beautiful smiles, gives self-confidence, and ensures each patient receives the best possible care.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Gerald, my two children Tim and his wife Crystal, and Kris, my seven wonderful grandchildren, and my two step-daughters Kristen and husband Brandon, and Cecilia. I am an animal lover with two dogs, two cats, and a bird. I enjoy being outdoors and watching and attending college football games.
I work in the Johnson City office and I have been in customer service for more than ten years. I am not afraid to jump in and get things done! I enjoy the one-on-one attention we give our patients and the focus we all put on meeting our patients’ needs. I love seeing the excitement when our patients get their braces and the confidence in their smile when they get them off.
My husband Eric and I have one child, Corey, two golden retrievers, and an African Grey parrot. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, camping, and quality family time.
Registered Dental Assistant
I graduated from Northeast State Dental Assisting Program in 2012 and joined Dr. Wood’s team shortly after. As one of our assistants, I provide oral hygiene instruction and give our patients the confidence to smile. There is nothing I like more than seeing the results of completed treatment and how much confidence our patients have after they get out of braces.
I love animals! I have two dogs and five cats at home! I also love to do things outside, whether it be yard work, hiking, or just sitting on my front porch.
Business Assistant/Certified and Registered Dental Assistant
I have worked for Dr. Wood since 2005. I started out as a dental assistant but have recently taken a full-time front office position. I find orthodontics to be a very fun and rewarding field to work in and I enjoy getting to know each and every patient. My favorite part about my job is seeing how much patients change throughout their treatment.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending my spare time outdoors with my spouse Jon. I enjoy being on the lake, traveling, and watching NASCAR and NFL. I am also the proud mom of one cat, Lucy, and three dogs, Sidney, Bailey, and Brody.
I am the office manager for Tri-Cities Orthodontic Specialists and have been with Dr. Wood since he opened the office 15 years ago. I am also a registered dental assistant and have been in the orthodontic field since 1987. My career has been very rewarding, and I am happy to be a part of creating beautiful and healthy smiles for people of all ages.
My husband and I have been married for 36 years. We have two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren.
Financial Coordinator/Professional Communications
I completed my Bachelor of Computer Science degree from East Tennessee State University and have worked with Tri-Cities Orthodontic Specialists since 2001. My job is the greatest! I am responsible for the financial operations and the professional communications for the practice. This allows me the opportunity to meet each and every patient that comes into the practice. It is great to see how excited they become and what a difference a beautiful smile can make.
I live in Kingsport with my wonderful husband Jorge. We have three sons, Stephen, Michael, and Matthew, and one golden retriever named Molly. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles.
My experience in dentistry goes back to 2008 when I worked for an oral surgeon. I decided to make a change and moved to orthodontics, joining Dr. Wood’s team in 2014. I’m here to check patients in and out of appointments, process insurance, and make sure the office is organized. I love working all the kids and getting to know them throughout their treatment. I consider all the staff to be my good friends and enjoy being around them and working with them on a daily basis.
I’m married with two daughters, Paisley who is four and Taylor who is 13. We have two dogs, a poodle named Macie and golden retriever named Zeus, two gold fish, and a bearded dragon named Smokey. As a family, we love UT football and enjoy going to Knoxville to watch them play. We also like to hike and go four-wheeling.
I work at our front desk, where I answer the phones, schedule appointments, and do all the daily office work so Dr. Wood can concentrate on providing excellent patient care. I love seeing the patients go from consult to completion, and witnessing the change in not only their smile but in their personality! Everyone is fun to work with here, and always making sure our patients are happy. I really enjoy working with the awesome team at TCOS!
I am originally from Vermont but love living in Tennessee. Registered Dental Assistant
It is my job to ensure the comfort and education of each patient to allow for the best possible patient experience and treatment outcome. I graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2013 and continued my education at Northeast State so that I could become an RDA. The best part of my job is the patient interaction and seeing the beautiful smiles at the completion of their treatment. I love helping each patient achieve the confident smile he or she desires. Since joining the TCOS team, I have found this office to be friendly, welcoming, and fun! Add to that the knowledge and experience the staff has to offer, and we have the complete package! Your smile is in great hands here!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the lake and traveling with my fiancé, family, and friends. I also appreciate time spent relaxing at home and watching movies.
